My Favorite Books

My Epic Reads

Love books that RUIN you. The ones that leave you breathless and lost because all you can think about is the story. Leaving you scouring the net for pictures and songs that remind you of them so that you might be able to, maybe just maybe, relive a part of it…It owns you, and for that, you will never be the same.
Only a few books have done that for me…

by J.D. Lexx
His writing will wow you. Mark you. Take part of your soul and leave you begging for more. If you only read one book for the next days….months….years. This one should be it. Read my review.

Archer's Voice

Archer’s Voice

This is one of the sweetest love stories I have ever had a pleasure of reading.  Powerful, emotional, moving.

The Five Stages of Falling in Love

The 5 Stages of Falling in Love
by Rachel Higginson

This book ruined me and made me realize just how precious life was.  I was left a puddle of big fat ugly tears from the epilogue.  I felt every heartache that Liz endured.

Fallen (Fallen, #1)

Fallen Series
by Lauren Kate

I read this one way before I owned my first ereader. Such a magical story that you will want to read over and over AND they are making a movie adaptation that should be out sometime soon!
Daniel has loved Lucinda for over one thousand years but is cursed to never be able to kiss her for fear of losing her again. You must read this epic love story.

On Every Street (The Artists Trilogy, #0.5)

Artist Trilogy
by Karina Halle

I fell in love with Ellie and her strength.  I have to admit I also feel in love with Javier.  I actually read On Every Street first.  I know they recommend it after Sins & Needles but I loved knowing the history between the two before the story started to unfold.  This series is dark, violent and sexual.  LOVED EVERY WORD!

Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1)

Black Dagger Brotherhood series
by J.R. Ward

*sigh*  I love my brothers. If you have never read paranormal before all I can say is you are highly missing out!

The series follows the lives  of vampire brothers Wrath, Rhage. Zsadist. Butch/Dhestroyer. Vishous Phury, John Matthew/Tehrror. Qhuinn and Blayloc.  There are others along the way but these are the main brothers. Humor, violence, sex…these stories ARE FREAKING AMAZING!  Enough said.  You must read now.

The Edge of Never
by J.A. Redmerski

Where do I even begin with this book.  This book captivated me…ruined me.  This is the book that made me start blogging.  It was infectious.  I could not get Camryn and Andrew’s story out of my head.  I went through pretty much every feeling you can feel while reading a book.  If you only ever read one love story then this should be the one.

The Fault in Our Stars

The Fault In Our Stars
by John Green

Warning**** one should not read this in public unless you want to look like a crying fool.  I have to admit I read this and IT is as good as everyone says.  The movie though it was good did not hold a candle to the way this book really makes you feel.  Life is precious.

Love, in English (Love, in English, #1)

Love, In English
by Karina Halle

You can probably see a pattern here.  I have not read a book of Karina’s that I didn’t love.  She has a way of drawing you in and making you cherish every word.

Matieo and Vera are two people that you would never imagine falling for each other but the heart wants what the heart wants. I rooted for them from the very beginning. EPIC love story…

Only Forever (Only #4)

Only Series
by Cristin Harber

Cristine definitely gets the biggest cliffhanger award.  This is the first novella series that has ever made my favorite list.  Each ones gives you just a teeny weeny glimpse into Grayson and Emma’s world leaving you gasping for breath and begging for more. And the writing OMG I can’t say enough about how beautiful it is.   HIGHLY recommend.

Falling into You (Falling, #1)

Falling Into You
by Jasinda Wilder

I loved this book! It was an emotional roller coaster but so so worth it.
Jasinda has a way of writing that takes you into the book. You are
right there with every high and every low…and oh the high and lows it

Pleasure Unbound (Demonica #1)

Demonica/Lords of Deliverance Series
by Larissa Ione

This series will leave you going “OMG I have to have more!”  Each story follows a different character but all are still very much connected.  I love that about her writing.  You never have whiplash and feel like you are losing them when the book ends.  Powerful, funny, sexy…I can’t say enough about this series.

Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, #1)

The Phoenix Pack Series
by Suzanne Wright

I never thought I would love a bunch of wolf shifters the way I love the brotherhood but wow is all I can say.  Between the hilarious banter to the hot HOT love scenes it will leave you breathless.  You MUST read this series.  Trust me you will not regret it.

On the Island (On the Island, #1)

On the Island
by Tracey Garvis-Graves

This is one of those stories that I have read over and over and never get tired of.  Think Cast Away meets the Notebook.  Tracey’s ability to keep you engaged through T.J. and Anna’s struggles is short of amazing.  This story proves that loves knows no boundaries and has no limitations.

Wallbanger (Cocktail, #1)

by Alice Clayton

One of the funniest books I’ve ever had the privilege of reading.  I recommend this book to EVERYONE!  Purina, Wallbanger, Pink nightie girl…OMG at the name calling in this book is hilarious!  EPIC READ!

Becoming a Jett Girl (Bourbon, #1)

Jett Girl Series
by Meghan Quinn

I have yet to read a Meghan Quinn book that I didn’t like.  She is funny, witty and down right disturbing at times but I love her writing.  I couldn’t get enough of this series.  You fall in love with EVERY character!

The Virgin Romance Novelist
by Meghan Quinn

By far the most hysterical book I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Meghan’s writing will leave you literally laughing out loud.  The storyline is brilliant.  I instantly fell in love with Rosie and Henry.  You will not regret reading this, just make sure you don’t read it in public or people might look at you funny.

by Stephen King

What can I say about Stephen King?  You either love his writing or hate it. If you only ever read one this one should be it.  Science Fiction, history, suspense AND a splash of romance.  Follow Jake as he travels back in time to try to save JFK.  Only thing he didn’t’ bargain for is falling love with Sarah and the rock n roll era.
