Forbidden Rose by Vivian Winslow
Series: Wildflowers, #2
Publication Date: February 29, 2016
Genre: New-adult contemporary romance – *Can be read as a STANDALONE*
My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I love reading Vivian’s books! I have been on this wild and crazy ride ever since Lily’s story in book one. I have mixed feelings about this one I admit. The writing is superb as it always it but I found myself skipping pages at times.
As always Viv’s girls are very confident and powerful women that know what they want and Rosa is no exception. She is Rodrigo’s brother and runs her own restaurant in Miami. Needed to hire a head chef she travels to New York to visit an old friend in hopes to persuade him to work for her.
She hasn’t seen him since they were kids and it doesn’t take long before the two quickly start off in a very heated (I say that word lightly…wow) relationship.
Eliseo moves to Miami where things start to get interesting with old flames and dark pasts come to the surface. Though not my favorite Viv book I still highly enjoyed and can’t wait to read more!
Elisea sits up and encircles Rosa with his legs. Neither one can speak. Neither of them wants to for fear hat any sound would break the spell.”
