My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 emotional heart wrenching stars!

First off I need to say that I am a HUGE fan of J.a. Redmerski! LOVE LOVE LOVE her books. Though this one was not my favorite I did enjoy reading it.

This book gives you a glimpse of what depression and self worth can do to someone and a relationship.

Bray and Elias meet when they are kids and he is smitten from the moment you smarted off and hit him in the hip. They were inseparable through school and when they were in their early 20’s they attempted a relationship and it failed miserably. Bray moves away and they do not see each other for four years.

Moving on sucks. Elias has tried relationships and one night stands but cannot get Bray out of his mind and out of his heart. Until Bray shows up in his driveway one day and everything changes for them.

They fall deeply and madly in love. It’s actually not a very healthy relationship if you ask me. Until tragedy strikes and they are forced to run away together to avoid being put in jail for an accident that they did not mean to happen.

They meet some colorful characters along the way and even a crossover moment with Camryn and Andrew from Edge of Never!!!

A lot of sad moments and at times I didn’t know if I would be able to finish but in the end they finally have their HEA.

This book was given to me for a fair and honest review.
