Soul Crossed (Of Demons and Angels, #1) by Lisa Gail Green
Release Date: 02/25/15
Josh lived a reckless, selfish life, so upon his death, escaping the eternal torments of Hell by assuming the role of a powerful, soul-corrupting demon is an easy choice. His first soul assignment doesn’t seem too hard: the mortal Camden is already obsessed with weapons, pain, and torture. If only Josh wasn’t distracted by Cam’s beautiful friend, Grace.
Grace never expected to die violently at age sixteen, but now she’s an Angel, responsible for saving a soul. She can already see past Camden’s earthly flaws, so the job should be be easy. If only that handsome, playboy Josh would stop getting in the way.
It’s forbidden for an Angel to be with a Demon, so if Josh and Grace stop resisting each other, the results would be disastrous.
And only one can claim Cam’s soul.
Two souls tragically intertwined together. The battle between good and evil just got blurred.
Josh lives a reckless lifestyle that inevitably cost him his life. Given the option to work for Satan or live in purgatory for the remainder of his existence he chooses the lesser of the two evils. Tasked with the job of making sure Cam, a teenager with a troubled past, becomes evil and perhaps the future antichrist. Only thing he didn’t bargain for was Grace.
Grace dies tragically one night and her soul goes to Heaven. She misses her family and is told that if she earns her wings she will be able to see them again. Her first assignment is to make sure Cam doesn’t turn evil and potentially destroy the world…piece of cake right?
Josh is memorized by Grace’s beauty. Grace is drawn to Josh as well. Without knowing each other’s identity they strike up a friendship. Cam takes Grace’s affections the wrong way and thinks that she is his and tells Josh to back off. Little does he know that Grace and Josh have fallen hard for one another.
Cam is one troubled soul, you have no idea through most of the book which way he will turn. When he catches Josh and Grace together all hell breaks lose….and OMG the ending is amazing!
Highly recommend to all of my paranormal YA fans.

She writes books so she can have an excuse to live in the fantasy world in her head. She likes to share these with readers so she’s represented by the lovely Melissa Nasson of Rubin Pfeffer Content.
